About our community
Our community was founded in 1982 and is part of the Islamic Community of Bosniaks in Germany. Its members come from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Sandžak, Kosovo, Montenegro, and North Macedonia.
We purchased the 3,245 m² site in 2017. Alongside the mosque and cultural center, we plan to build a waqf property with 18 apartments to provide long-term support for the community.

A waqf is an important sustainable source of income for mosques and cultural centers in the diaspora. We have received planning permission for the mosque, minaret, and associated buildings.

Current estimates put the project cost at more than eight million euros. No single community can achieve this alone. We rely on support from communities and donors across the diaspora.
